Last Outpost: Survivors heads to the desert in its biggest update yet

Version 1.5.0 adds a desert biome with new creatures, water management and turret upgrades that show their damage before you build.

Ember Pine Games has released version 1.5.0 of Last Outpost: Survivors. It is the co-op survival game’s largest update so far, built around a new desert biome.

The desert biome

The desert appears on new maps after your third night. Days are longer, but water is scarce: you need to build wells or collect water from oases, and your survivors slow down when they are thirsty. At night, burrowing creatures can attack from below, so walls alone are not enough.

Clearer turret upgrades

Turret upgrades now show their damage and range before you spend materials, which makes it much easier to plan defences with friends.

Good to know

  • Existing bases are not affected. The desert only appears on new maps.
  • All players in a co-op lobby need version 1.5.0.
  • The APK is 780 MB and needs Android 8.0 or newer.
